LIFE in conjunction with the Australian Psychological Society is hosting free professional development evaluation workshops around Australia in March and April 2010. These day long workshops will introduce and explain a basic, Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing-approved model of evaluation and leave participants with a take-home plan. Anyone working to prevent suicide in Australia who would like to learn about evaluating projects on an introductory level is eligible to attend.

Workshops are being held in every capital city in Australia, close to the CBD and public transport where available. There is no cost to attend and catering for the day will be provided. The workshops will run from approximately 9am – 5pm and discount accommodation is available in some locations for those who are coming from rural areas.

Spaces are limited, so fill out a registration form (registration closes two weeks prior to each workshop date) and send it to the LIFE team as soon as possible. Your participation will be confirmed prior to the workshop.
